CELEBRATE--CELEBRATE!!!

The new life of our precious Birdie Girl, Scarlett is indeed a wonderful reason to celebrate.  What a glorious event it was to welcome this Sweetheart to this earth.  She was surrounded by lots of family that all love her so very much.  Happy Birth Day to you Scarlett.  I felt so privileged to be there for your arrival and thank my Heavenly Father for His tender mercy in allowing me to partake of that special blessing.  I loved every minute I got to spend with you and I am so glad you belong to our eternal family.  I love you with all of my heart and cherish the memories I made with you.  You are absolutely perfect!

STELLA IS 3

My Little Sunshine had a birthday while I was gone so I'm late in getting it posted. I don't want to have anyone missing when I make my blog into a book and I want her to feel as important and loved as everyone else so I'm posting it now.  Happy Birthday to you Stella.  You are such a crazy--adorable little nut and you bring our whole family tons of love and fun.  We are so glad you were born 3 years ago. Being there with your Mom when you were born will always be one of my favorite memories.   We love you and we miss being able to see all of the crazy things you do to keep everyone entertained.

FLU SHOTS & VORONEZH

After our zone conferences this time we got flu shots--except for Elder Whitney and Elder Craven that is.  They exercised their agency and refused.  This is Nilder our cute Peruvian convert that is a doctor.  He was great.  So gentle and kind.

When we went to do our zone conference in the SOUTH, I walked around Voronezh while Dad was doing "church stuff" at the building.  It was the city of Voronezh's birthday.

Very unique lamp posts on top of this building.

Someone loved their dog, TIM very much.  I can relate.  Guess I'm a dog person.

Look who ended up being the doctor in Voronezh---Do you think Elder Clark looks nervous?

BEE-LICIOUS

It's a tradition for Dad and I to go to the honey festival held every October and March.  The Skousens went with us last year.  It was more fun with them.

There are hundreds of these booths from all over Russia selling honey.

You can get tastes of all of the honey before you decide which flavor you want to buy.  Fact:  eating  too much honey is possible.

We always make sure we buy some of these "Russian Snickers" as the little man that sold them to us called them.

Russian Snickers--honey nougat with either peanuts or cashews.  We like the cashew ones better.  YUM!  They taste like divinity.  Do you know what that is?

This is bee pollen.  Dad bought me a bunch of it because it is healthy in every way for you.  If you don't believe me just go to the websites that sell it--they will confirm that fact.  I now take a teaspoon of bee pollen every day.  You won't believe how much better I look.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

Look at this cute couple!  Today is the day that Dustin and Natalie celebrate the day they began their adorable eternal family.  That happened 14 years ago.  Wow--time flies.  We love you two and those 4 kiddies that are forever ours as well--because two people fell in love.  Happy Anniversary!  Hugs & Kisses

FALL IS HERE

On the road to Tver for church we saw evidence that Fall is here.  Many of the trees have started changing.  This one really stood out and I thought it was so pretty.

Also on the way we saw these cute Babushki on the side of the road selling their produce.  We took this picture with our zoom lens.

Lots of apples and a few pumpkins.  Orange pumpkins are rare.

Lots of cabbage patches along the way

On our way back to Moscow Dad pulled over when we saw the same Babs again.  Elder Despain, (he is so cute--I knew they wouldn't refuse him) asked them if I could take a picture with them. Aren't they adorable?
